The construction of these new rental units in the Seaport District and other neighborhoods in Downtown Boston is a positive development. The addition of these new rentals will add more full time residents to the neighborhood and promote the growth of retail infrastructure. With inventory levels of Downtown Boston condos for sale still relatively low, the big question is the likelihood of condo conversions Downtown for the near future? Will Boston Condo conversions rise in 2019? High vacancies and rent increases may keep rental potential renters to stay exactly where they are.
