Then, take a trip to your local hardware store and pick out a seat that’s just right for you. If you haven’t been toilet seat shopping lately, you might be surprised by the variety of options available, from padded and heated to auto-close and nightlight enabled models!
Change the Locks
So how many keys did you give out to friends, relatives and maybe even contractors at your old house? Exactly, you really don’t know who else has keys to your new home! Changing the locks is a relatively cost effective and easy way to ensure you’re the only person who has access. An easy DIY project, switching out your home’s deadbolt can cost as little as $10 and take only a few minutes to complete. If you’re thinking about upgrading the entire lockset, or going digital, hiring a pro is a good idea.
