 ATOM Data, curator of the nation’s largest multi-sourced property database, yesterday released its Year-End and Q4 2017 U.S. Home Sales Report, which shows Boston condo sellers in Q4 2017 realized an average ROI of 54% the highest since Q3 2007 — a more than 10-year high.

The average Massachusetts home seller in the 4th Q of 2017 saw a net profit of $141,800.

In addition, there were 4.6 million (4,628,408) U.S. properties that were seriously underwater (where the combined loan amount secured by the property was at least 25 percent higher than the property’s estimated market value), down by more than 800,000 properties from the previous quarter and down by more than 1.4 million properties
